Copthorne Chapel News
We had a very enjoyable fish and chip lunch at Peter and Jenny’s house in Crawley down on the 22nd August with thirteen attending. This was followed later by tea and cakes and very much enjoyed by all. Our thanks to Peter and Jenny for hosting this.
On the 27th August we held our Songs of Praise service when Carol Watson played for us and her daughter Katherine sang so beautifully, especially Panis Angelicus. Katherine is the sister of Margaret Watson, who is well known for her harp playing.
We are now looking forward to our harvest celebrations on the 24th September when all fresh produce will be given to Heatherley and tins and dry goods to the Easter Team in Crawley.
Following the morning service, we will have a harvest lunch in the schoolroom, with ham, salads and various deserts.
We meet every Sunday morning at 10.30 am, everyone welcome.
