It’s Never Too Late to Boo a Baddy. Oh No It Isn’t!
Copthorne Players present ‘Dick Whittington’ at Copthorne Village Hall.
Sightings of a giant rodent going by the name of ‘Queen Rat’ has led to speculation that Copthorne Village Hall is soon to be overrun by rats and, with this plague due to reach epidemic proportions between 8th and 11th February, the advice is to expect symptoms including singing, slapstick, dancing and uncontrollable laughter!
However Fairy Bow Bells, spokesperson for Copthorne Players, has assured us that although Dick Whittington and his Cat are already on the case, the fearsome end and her ratty horde can only
be defeated with help from their audience. Dick’s adventures will take him from Olde London Town over the high seas to sunny shores afar. So with tickets priced at just £10, the whole family can lend their support in this enchanting tale of fame, fortune, heroes and villains.
Performances are 8th & 9th February
at 19.30; 10th at 13.30 & 18.30; Sunday 11th matinee at 14.30. Book your tickets online at www.ticketsource.co.uk or call 01342 713139/712550.
