Pound Hill Medical
The Practice recently had another Care Quality Commission Audit and from our discussions with the inspectors on the day, response to the changes we made seems to be good, with the official report expected to be published in February. We would like to thank all of our Patient Group and Autism Support Crawley for their support on the day, and over the past year, in helping us to be well prepared for this extremely important inspection. Our most recent patient surveys continue to show a good response to the changes we made last year to our appointment system. This has helped us to improve access to all sections of the Practice. Please appreciate that when the reception team ask you for the reason for your appointment request, they are trying to help you get the best attention and care you need, as soon as possible. This could be with one of our nurses, a healthcare assistant or perhaps simply a telephone call.
The flu season is once again well and truly upon us, now with a significant increase in flu like symptoms from our patients. Please refer to the NHS Website at https://www.nhs.uk, which will be able to give you advice on self management and what our pharmacy colleagues can help you with, before you contact the surgery.
Thank you all once again for all your interest and support for our Practice, it is greatly appreciated and certainly helps us improve our services whenever we can for the bene t of everyone.
Perry Anderson (Practice Manager) and Peter Chatfield (PRG Chairman)
